Pump Mount Details

1/4" x 1" flat bar was used for most of the mount.  The brace between the legs was made of 1/2" square tubing.  Washers were used to get exact spacing of legs from pump body so that the pulleys lined up for the belt.  Many tack-welded test fits were done before the mount was able to be fully welded into its final configuration.  We didn't bother to paint the mount because by the time it was assembled onto the pump it was already well oiled.  The studs/threaded holes in the pump body are 3/8".

Apologies - we didn't have a metric ruler handy when we took these pictures.

Length of brace between legs.

Amount front leg needed to be offset in order to line up pulleys & still be able to get bolt into pump.

Distance between stock pump mount & lower mount.

This mount allows for rotation at both the stock mounts on the pump body and at our lower mount.  This makes it such that there is maximum adjustment possible with minimum movement of the pump itself.  The pump has to be located very carefully to avoid the surrounding "stuff" in the engine compartment.
